PEHRA AGM at Town Hall Meeting

PEHRA is delighted that Councillor Kent has given us the opportunity to hold a short “in person” AGM at the end of her upcoming Town Hall Meeting on Oct. 19th (6pm -8pm), Woodlawn Library. All residents are welcome. Meet your neighbours, learn about issues impacting our community, and ask questions about areas that concern you. PEHRA will have a membership table at the forum to answer any questions and accept memberships for the 2022/23 year. Only $10 per household each year helps to support the work of your residents’ association. We look forward to seeing you at the Town Hall.

Movie in the Park a Success

PEHRA's “Movie in the Park” was a great success! Beautiful evening on Oct 1st for an outdoor event! Great turnout of over 500 in Birches Park to see the free movie “Aladdin!” Pop Up Cinema also offered delicious movie snacks of popcorn, drinks, and even cheesecake on a stick! Thank you to our main sponsor Steele Mazda for making this fun evening possible! Thank you also to Tamer Sobeih and our other PEHRA volunteers for organizing the event. Movie In The Park Rescheduled Oct 1st

Trails Team improving the Bell Brook trail

Thanks to those of you who could join us today (Byron Macdonald, Don Dennis, Dana McLellan, Melissa Perotta, and Hugh Millward). We cleared woody growth along the northern half of the trail, and also cut back some perennial weeds in the sunnier spots (particularly the entrances either side of the upper portion of Bellbrook Crescent). Byron's zeal led us to clear two fairly large fallen trees that were partially blocking the trail. The trail is very pleasant and is now easier to walk, but beware of tree roots and boulders.
